Preorder Policy

This Preorder Policy forms part of, and is incorporated into, the Wax Assault Records Terms of Service. By placing a preorder with Wax Assault Records, you agree to the terms set forth below.
1. What Is a Preorder
A preorder is the purchase of a product that is not yet in stock at the time the order is placed. Preorders reserve inventory from an upcoming production run and secure a copy for the customer, subject to availability as outlined in this policy.
Preorders may be offered for upcoming physical media releases such as vinyl records, CDs, cassettes, or related merchandise.
2. Payment Timing
Full payment is required at the time a preorder is placed.
Preorders reserve inventory from a future production run and are recorded at the time of purchase. Payment does not guarantee immediate shipment or delivery.
3. Estimated Ship Dates
Estimated ship dates are provided for reference only and are not guaranteed.
Production timelines may be affected by factors outside of our control, including but not limited to pressing plant delays, artwork revisions, licensing approvals, supply chain disruptions, or carrier delays.
Delays do not, by themselves, constitute grounds for cancellation or refund.
4. Orders Containing Preorder Items
Orders containing both preorder and in-stock items will ship together once all items in the order are available, unless otherwise stated.
Customers who wish to receive in-stock items sooner must place separate orders.
5. Cancellations
Preorder items are non-cancellable by default.
Any cancellation requests may be considered solely at the discretion of Wax Assault Records. Refunds or cancellations are not guaranteed and may be approved, if at all, at the sole discretion of Wax Assault Records.
Any approved cancellation may be subject to a processing fee of up to 10% of the order value to cover non-refundable payment processing and administrative costs.
6. Changes to Preorder Products
Wax Assault Records reserves the right to make reasonable changes to preorder products prior to fulfillment, including minor artwork adjustments, packaging changes, or manufacturing variations, provided such changes do not materially alter the product.
7. Allocation & Availability
Preorders are fulfilled on a first-come, first-served basis.
In the rare event that a preorder cannot be fulfilled due to manufacturing shortfall or cancellation of production, customers will be notified and issued a refund for the preorder item and any shipping charges paid for that item/order. If any portion of the order has already shipped, shipping charges are non-refundable.
8. Fulfillment, Returns & Defects
Fulfillment of preorder items occurs upon shipment and does not require delivery to the customer, as defined in our Shipping Policy.
Once delivered, preorder items are subject to the same Returns & Refund Policy as in-stock items. Only manufacturing defects or incorrect items shipped by Wax Assault Records may be eligible for replacement or refund, subject to that policy.
Damage incurred during shipping, carrier handling, customs inspections, or border handling is not eligible for refunds or replacements.
9. International Preorders
International customers are responsible for all customs duties, VAT, import taxes, and brokerage fees upon delivery. These fees are not included in preorder pricing or shipping charges.
Refused or unclaimed international preorder shipments are not eligible for refunds or replacements.
