Refund & Return Policy

This Return & Refund Policy forms part of, and is incorporated into, the Wax Assault Records Terms of Service. By placing an order with Wax Assault Records, you agree to the terms set forth below.

1. All Sales Final

All sales are final. Due to the limited-edition and collectible nature of our releases, we do not accept returns or issue refunds for buyer’s remorse, ordering errors, or changes of mind.

Refunds or replacements are not guaranteed and may be issued, if at all, solely at the discretion of Wax Assault Records, and only in the limited circumstances expressly outlined in this policy.

2. Eligible Cases for Replacement or Refund

We will offer a replacement, or where a replacement is not available, a refund only in the following cases:

  • Item(s) have a manufacturing defect that renders the product materially unplayable

  • Incorrect item(s) were shipped by Wax Assault Records

To be eligible, you must contact us within 7 days of delivery and provide clear photographic evidence of the issue. All claims are subject to review and approval.

3. Defective Items

A “defective” item is one that is materially unplayable or significantly impaired due to a manufacturing defect.

The following do not constitute defects:

  • Minor cosmetic imperfections common in vinyl manufacturing

  • Light surface noise or occasional pops

  • Color variation or opacity differences

  • Minor warping that does not affect playback

  • Seam splits, corner dings, jacket wear, or sleeve damage

  • Subjective sound quality concerns or playback issues related to equipment setup

  • Damage caused by customs inspections, border handling, or other government authorities

Determination of whether an item is defective is made at the sole discretion of Wax Assault Records.

For confirmed defects, Wax Assault Records will provide a replacement at no additional cost when available. Return of the defective item is not required unless specifically requested.

4. Refunds

Refunds are issued only when an item is eligible, and a replacement is not available. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Shipping charges are non-refundable once an order has shipped. If a refund is issued prior to shipment (for example, due to an unfulfilled preorder), shipping charges will be refunded.

5. Preorder Items

Preorder items are non-cancellable. Any cancellation approved at the sole discretion of Wax Assault Records may be subject to a processing fee of up to 10% of the order value to cover non-refundable payment processing and administrative costs.

6. Shipping Issues

Once an order has been handed to the shipping carrier, Wax Assault Records is not responsible for loss, theft, delay, or damage occurring during transit, including damage caused by customs inspections or border handling. Fulfillment does not require delivery to the customer.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information. Orders delayed, lost, or returned due to incorrect or incomplete addresses are not eligible for refunds or replacements.

If a customer requests a shipping address change after an order is placed and additional shipping charges apply, the order will ship to the original address provided at checkout unless the additional charges are paid prior to shipment.

Once tracking confirms delivery, Wax Assault Records is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. Customers must contact the shipping carrier directly to file any claims.

While shipping issues are the responsibility of the carrier, we may assist customers in providing documentation or guidance for carrier claims where possible.

7. International Orders

International customers are responsible for all customs duties, VAT, import taxes, and brokerage fees. Refused or unclaimed shipments are not eligible for refunds or replacements.

8. Digital Products

All sales of digital goods (including but not limited to downloads, streaming access, or digital album codes) are final and non-refundable.
