Formed in 1993, Cutthroat quickly became a fixture in the Albany, NY underground, sharing stages with bands such as Machine Head, Hatebreed, Madball, Crowbar, Stuck Mojo, Suffocation, and Brutal Truth. Between 1995 and 1997 the band recorded and released the material that defined their identity - raw, heavy, and rooted in the 1990s metalcore movement.

Legacy of Rage: 1995–1997 gathers every recording from these pivotal years into one definitive collection. Featuring the Hate Breeds Rage album, the Swollen Shut cassette, and three tracks originally released on the Capital Punishment and East Coast Assault II compilations, this release brings together over 70 minutes of Cutthroat’s most essential material unified in one place for the first time.

Remastered from the original DAT tapes by Svante Forsbäck, these recordings capture Cutthroat at their peak. Long out of print and unavailable for nearly three decades, now carefully restored and presented together in a single collection.
